Working in an earthquake-torn Italian village on the set of her latest fantasy adventure film Inkheart, Dame Helen Mirren found herself literally swept off her feet by Canadian actor Brendan Fraser.
The hunky star came to the aid of the Queen actress as she was struggling to run down a cobbled street in high heels while shooting a scene.
"That's when my darling Brendan took me by the arm and basically lifted me off the ground so my feet were in the air," she explains. "He's so strong, he just swept me down the road."
Helen stars as an eccentric aunt in the adventure, which sees Brendan as a father who discovers he can make the characters in the books he reads to his little girl come to life.
This week the Journey To The Center Of The Earth star jetted into Dubai to promote Inkheart at the city's International Film Festival. The flick also showcases the acting talents of husband and wife team Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly, plus Andy Serkis and Jim Broadbent.
